i remember the day when the love of God
landed in our town
He took all the silent and broken hearts,
fixed them up and gave them a sound
you had almost every different kind of
kid from every different kind
of social background
taking all the cool they had and praising
God, as He spun them around
when God came to town
and the people in our churches, they were
constantly amazed
at the kids kneeling at the altar with their
different fashion flavors
you had squares, preps, and skater punks,
goths and techno-ravers
and the tattooed kids with colored
hair... and they were all getting saved
you think the 60's had good vibrations?
well, check out my generation...
we will run and never stop
yeah, we all will stand together
taking everything we are
and then praising Him forever

suddenly almost every kid in town had
finally found the way
to take all the gifts and talents and beauty
they had and worship God every day
man, you had all the high school parties,
and they were turning into worship raves
and the sounds of the underground in
town had turned into praise
when Your people sing, all of heaven
sings... so sing! is that cool?
lift your hands up to the sky

Recuerdo el día en que el amor de Dios
aterrizó en nuestra ciudad
Tomó todos los corazones silenciosos y rotos,
los arregló y les dio un sonido
tenías casi todos los tipos diferentes de
chicos de todos los tipos diferentes
de trasfondo social
tomando toda la onda que tenían y alabando
a Dios, mientras Él los hacía girar
cuando Dios llegó a la ciudad
y la gente en nuestras iglesias, estaban
constantemente asombrados
de los chicos arrodillados en el altar con sus
diferentes estilos de moda
tenías cuadrados, preppies y skater punks,
góticos y techno-ravers
y los chicos tatuados con cabello de
colores... y todos estaban siendo salvados
¿crees que los 60 tuvieron buenas vibraciones?

correremos y nunca nos detendremos

tomando todo lo que somos
y luego alabándolo por siempre
bueno, cualquiera y todos, vengan y
únanse a nosotros para pasar un buen rato

de repente casi todos los chicos de la ciudad
finalmente encontraron el camino
para tomar todos los regalos y talentos y belleza
que tenían y adorar a Dios todos los días
hombre, tenías todas las fiestas de la secundaria,
y se estaban convirtiendo en raves de adoración
y los sonidos del underground en
la ciudad se habían convertido en alabanza
cuando Tu gente canta, todo el cielo
canta... ¡así que canta! ¿es eso cool?
