The day has come near to write the last page
Your hopes will stay here, your fear will drift away
And those times when no one was able to read
Turning the truth into lies all through the years

You ask about spirit, forgiveness and grace

But I tell you there's so much more we could be
If we unchain the earth and take a chance to be free
Instead they all follow a book and hold on to fear
The mess always starts by some gods and religious belief
There can be a thing beyond your world that you know
You act in play within a play that's your own show
We try to wake up and keep pace with our own constant change

There has to be more than to follow the past and to pray
Be open to knowledge and truth in the world of today
