Até ontem eu era Jacó
Um enganador, suplantador, eu era sim
Por um prato de lentilhas comprei o meu irmão
E a benção da primogenitura eu tomei pra mim

E fui ferido na coxa e mudei meu andar
Mudou caráter, mudou tudo até o meu falar
E o meu nome de jacó passou a ser israel

Muda nome, endereço, muda linguajar

E se até hoje o teu nome continua sendo jacó
