Fica comigo, Senhor, pois preciso da tua presença para não te esquecer. Sabes quão facilmente posso te abandonar.
Fica comigo, Senhor, porque sou fraco e preciso da tua força para não cair.
Fica comigo, Senhor, porque és minha vida, e sem ti perco o fervor.
Fica comigo, Senhor, porque és minha luz, e sem ti reina a escuridão.
Fica comigo, Senhor, para me mostrar tua vontade.
Fica comigo, Senhor, para que ouça tua voz e te siga.
Fica comigo, Senhor, pois desejo amar-te e permanecer sempre em tua companhia.
Fica comigo, Senhor, se queres que te seja fiel.
Fica comigo, Senhor, porque, por mais pobre que seja minha alma, quero que se transforme num lugar de consolação para ti, um ninho de amor.
Fica comigo, Jesus, pois se faz tarde e o dia chega ao fim; a vida passa, e a morte, o julgamento e a eternidade se aproximam. Preciso de ti para renovar minhas energias e não parar no caminho.
Está ficando tarde, a morte avança e eu tenho medo da escuridão, das tentações, da falta de fé, da cruz, das tristezas. Oh, quanto preciso de ti, meu Jesus, nesta noite de exílio.
Fica comigo nesta noite, Jesus, pois ao longo da vida, com todos os seus perigos, eu preciso de ti.
Faze, Senhor, que te reconheça como te reconheceram teus discípulos ao partir do pão, a fim de que a Comunhão Eucarística seja a luz a dissipar a escuridão, a força a me sustentar, a única alegria do meu coração.
Fica comigo, Senhor, porque na hora da morte quero estar unido a ti, se não pela Comunhão, ao menos pela graça e pelo amor.
Fica comigo, Jesus. Não peço consolações divinas, porque não as mereço, mas apenas o presente da tua presença, ah, isso sim te suplico!
Fica comigo, Senhor, pois é só a ti que procuro, teu amor, tua graça, tua vontade, teu coração, teu Espírito, porque te amo, e a única recompensa que te peço é poder amar-te sempre mais.
Como este amor resoluto desejo amar-te de todo o coração enquanto estiver na terra, para continuar a te amar perfeitamente por toda a eternidade. Amém.

Stay with me, Lord, for I need your presence so as not to forget you. You know how easily I can abandon you.
Stay with me, Lord, because I am weak and need your strength not to fall.
Stay with me, Lord, because you are my life, and without you I lose fervor.
Stay with me, Lord, because you are my light, and without you darkness reigns.
Stay with me, Lord, to show me your will.
Stay with me, Lord, so I may hear your voice and follow you.
Stay with me, Lord, for I desire to love you and remain always in your company.
Stay with me, Lord, if you want me to be faithful to you.
Stay with me, Lord, because, no matter how poor my soul may be, I want it to become a place of consolation for you, a nest of love.
Stay with me, Jesus, for it is getting late and the day is coming to an end; life passes, and death, judgment, and eternity draw near. I need you to renew my energies and not stop on the way.
It is getting late, death advances, and I am afraid of the darkness, temptations, lack of faith, the cross, sorrows. Oh, how much I need you, my Jesus, on this night of exile.
Stay with me this night, Jesus, for throughout life, with all its dangers, I need you.
Make it, Lord, that I recognize you as your disciples recognized you in the breaking of the bread, so that the Eucharistic Communion may be the light to dispel the darkness, the strength to sustain me, the only joy of my heart.
Stay with me, Lord, because at the hour of death I want to be united to you, if not by Communion, at least by grace and love.
Stay with me, Jesus. I do not ask for divine consolations, because I do not deserve them, but only the gift of your presence, ah, that I do beg of you!
Stay with me, Lord, for it is only you that I seek, your love, your grace, your will, your heart, your Spirit, because I love you, and the only reward I ask of you is to be able to love you more and more always.
With this resolute love, I desire to love you with all my heart while on earth, to continue loving you perfectly for all eternity. Amen.
