Diligite justitiam,
O judices terrae,

Love justice,
O judges of the land,

The souls of the righteous are in God's hands,
And the torment of death won't touch them.
To the foolish, they seemed to die,
And their departure was thought to be a disaster.
But they are at peace.
The wicked tyrant has no hope:
And even if he lives a long life,
He will amount to nothing.
But the just ruler,
