all the mistakes that i made it burns a hole in my soul
and it took all that i had to get out of that hole
it took the birth of my sons to get back my control

viví una vida de dolor y apenas era un joven
y es difícil tratar de nadar en un océano de tontos
y pensé que tendría un respiro pero había roto las reglas
y mamá siempre me dijo que cuidara de mí mismo
no sea que el diablo ponga un tenedor en el camino que elijas
incluso los árboles más fuertes deben crecer desde las raíces
ver una casa sin amor no es un hogar, es solo un techo
es un refugio sin calor y sabes que es la verdad
y me siento más en casa cuando estoy solo en la cabina
ey mi flujo es imparable, este poema es la prueba
es poesía, pluma y papel, mi sello está mostrando los frutos
mientras crezco y mejoro y todos ellos son lentos y observadores
exactamente lo que has aprendido y sabes cuando te lanzan la curva
y si muestran preocupación no es porque les importe
solo porque saben lo que deben en retorno
tiempo parece que me está tomando demasiado
las pruebas y tribulaciones son por las que me fortalecí

me estoy aferrando a lo de arriba, salimos del barro
¿titubeé? vine con lo mejor y por mi familia
vine de la calle, no tienes más opción que planificar
una forma de salir de alguna manera nos liberaremos

y aún estoy aquí y es mi vida y no tengo miedo
