Das ist nur eine kleine Samba,
Aufgebaut auf einer einzigen Note.
Andere Noten werden folgen,
Doch die Wurzel bleibt diese Note.
Jetzt ist diese neue die Konsequenz,
Von der, die wir gerade durchlebt haben.
Denn ich bin die unausweichliche Konsequenz von dir.
Es gibt so viele Menschen, die reden können,
Und reden und reden und einfach nichts sagen,
Oder fast nichts.
Ich habe alle Skalen aufgebraucht, die ich kenne, und am Ende bin ich zu nichts gekommen,
Oder fast nichts.
Also komme ich zurück zu meiner ersten Note,
So wie ich zu dir zurückkommen muss.
Ich werde in diese eine Note gießen,
All die Liebe, die ich für dich empfinde.
Jeder, der die ganze Show will,
