Memories of My Childhood

Sergio Umbria

Memories of My Childhood

I was a kid like you, I also had my childhood
I played like you, and they always entertain me
The games, I could meet girls
Who awakened a childish love in me
Without any vulgarity, it was just innocence

I played with toy cars, we made roads
With ditches like road potholes, we made
Cars with milk jugs, and it was extremely
Fun, or we grabbed a rope and

Tied it and one was the driver who picked up
The passengers and we toured the entire yard
Of one of the houses but we were happy kids

I was a kid like you, I also had my childhood
I played like you, and they always entertain me
The games, I could meet girls
Who awakened a childish love in me
Without any vulgarity, it was just innocence

We improvised spinning tops with sardine cans
And a stick, we played marbles, spinning tops
We climbed the mango trees
Playing hide and seek, and the most fun

Was when they were going to hit us and we ran to hide
And they found us, they punished us anyway
But you know what? We learned to be
Good men and women, long live children's games

I was a kid like you, I also had my childhood
I played like you, and they always entertain me
The games, I could meet girls
Who awakened a childish love in me
Without any vulgarity, it was just innocence
