i stand opposed of what i've been taught my whole life
my family entangled by the church of rome
followed traditions of man - never followed my own
my creed - not saved by works, but by grace alone
no pope, no priest, nor cardinal over me
i call no one father except the one true God
Christ is my mediatior i will repent to him alone
confused by hail marys - confessions to a man
faith drowned in "holy" water Christ reduced to sacraments

Mi familia enredada por la iglesia de Roma
Seguí tradiciones de hombres, nunca seguí las mías
Mi credo, no salvado por obras, sino solo por gracia
Ningún papa, ningún sacerdote, ni cardenal sobre mí
No llamo padre a nadie excepto al único Dios verdadero
Cristo es mi mediador, solo me arrepentiré ante él
Confundido por los 'Ave Marías', confesiones a un hombre
Fe ahogada en 'agua santa', Cristo reducido a sacramentos
