Estavam reunidos depois que Jesus havia sido sepultado
Ficaram surpresos quando o Salvador entre eles surgiu
A alegria foi tanta que até duvidaram que fosse Jesus
Que por nossos pecados morreu coroado, pregado na cruz
Ele comeu um pedaço de peixe assado e um favo de mel
Abençoou Seus discípulos e foi recebido lá em cima no céu
Ficaram perplexos com o que acontecia, olhavam para cima
Apareceu dois anjos vestidos de branco falando assim

They were gathered after Jesus had been buried
They were surprised when the Savior among them appeared
The joy was so great that they even doubted it was Jesus
Who for our sins died crowned, nailed to the cross
He ate a piece of roasted fish and a honeycomb
He blessed His disciples and was received up into heaven
They were perplexed by what was happening, they looked up
Two angels dressed in white appeared, speaking like this
Men of Galilee, why do you look up?
This Jesus that you saw go to heaven
Just as it was, one day it will return
