In the shadow of the cross we stand alone
There's a hollow shape left in the corner where the light used to fall
A heavy silence echoes through the rooms and bounces off the wall
I reach out in the darkness but my fingers only meet the empty air
Haunted by the ghost of a presence that is no longer standing there
The weight of what is missing pulls the ground from underneath
A frontier step is robbed of design
And it's getting harder to breathe
The clock keeps ticking forward though I'm frozen in the gray of yesterday
I have to find the strength to wash the salt and bitter dust away
When the world won't stop its turning just because I've lost my steady ground
I'll take a step into the light until the peace I need is finally found
Memories are anchors pulling me deep into the cold and gray
But I must cut the line to find the strength to face another day
The life goes on
El-Espacio-Silencioso
En la sombra de la cruz estamos solos
Hay una forma vacía en la esquina donde solía caer la luz
Un pesado silencio resuena en las habitaciones y rebota en la pared
Extiendo la mano en la oscuridad, pero mis dedos solo encuentran aire vacío
Atormentado por el fantasma de una presencia que ya no está allí
El peso de lo que falta arrastra el suelo de debajo
Un paso en la frontera es despojado de diseño
Y se hace más difícil respirar
El reloj sigue avanzando aunque estoy congelado en el gris de ayer
Tengo que encontrar la fuerza para lavar la sal y el polvo amargo
Cuando el mundo no detiene su giro solo porque he perdido mi suelo firme
Daré un paso hacia la luz hasta que la paz que necesito finalmente sea hallada
Los recuerdos son anclas que me hunden en el frío y gris
Pero debo cortar la línea para encontrar la fuerza de enfrentar otro día
La vida sigue adelante
