Misfits

We live in a Gotham where there are already too many inconsistent heroes
We live in a city where people over promise what they’re willing to do
But catch them on the wrong day and they have already checked out
See, real heroes, real misfits, real Christians, real Christ followers
They don’t pick and choose when they help
Nor do they allow a circumstance to dictate their level of commitment
We choose to live a life that most people say they don’t want to live
But we know that we’re called to this
And because of His grace we are able to make it This is why we carry our cross daily
And daily allowing our cross to carry us through Each and every one of us are called to live a selfless life
Not making it about us
Not making it about how many followers we can gain on Twitter or Instagram
But making it about how many followers can be added to the Kingdom
Not for our sake, but for the name of Jesus Christ
I am praying and I am hoping that today you will be consistent in your faith
Please allow me to expose to you from the onset, from the very beginning
If you are doing this thing for applause or accolades
Then you are in it from the wrong reason, why?
Because the bible clearly states that all glory, all honor does not belong to us
It all belongs to Jesus Christ
So when you enter in this thing be sure that you know, that you understand
And that you are okay with knowing that all the work may be done by you
But all the praise and thank you's belong to Him
A misfit is one who's uncomfortable with his or her surroundings
And is seen to be disturbingly different than others
And as misfits one of our greatest discomforts is inconsistency amongst our peers
No matter what happens we remain full of character and integrity
Without ceasing, without stopping, why?
Because we realize that this is more than a fad, or a trendy term, or a t-shirt
This is a lifestyle, and it is a commitment to God
And as misfits living under the mandate of Jesus Christ
We do not take our commitments lightly
Our yes, is yes. And our no, is no

Vivimos en una Ciudad Gótica donde ya hay demasiados héroes inconsistentes
Vivimos en una ciudad donde la gente promete lo que está dispuesta a hacer
Pero atraparlos en el día equivocado y ya han comprobado
Mira, verdaderos héroes, verdaderos inadaptados, verdaderos cristianos, verdaderos seguidores de Cristo
No escogen y eligen cuando ayudan
Tampoco permiten que una circunstancia dicte su nivel de compromiso
Elegimos vivir una vida que la mayoría de la gente dice que no quiere vivir
Pero sabemos que estamos llamados a esto
Y debido a Su gracia somos capaces de hacerlo. Es por eso que llevamos nuestra cruz diariamente
Y diariamente permitiendo que nuestra cruz nos lleve a través de Todos y cada uno de nosotros estamos llamados a vivir una vida desinteresada
No se trata de nosotros
No se trata de cuántos seguidores podemos ganar en Twitter o Instagram
Pero haciendo que sea acerca de cuántos seguidores se pueden agregar al Reino
No por nuestro bien, sino por el nombre de Jesucristo
Estoy orando y espero que hoy ustedes sean consistentes en su fe
Por favor, permítame exponerte desde el principio, desde el principio
Si estás haciendo esto por aplausos o elogios
Entonces estás en ella por la razón equivocada, ¿por qué?
Porque la Biblia dice claramente que toda gloria, todo honor no nos pertenece
Todo pertenece a Jesucristo
Así que cuando entres en esta cosa asegúrate de que sabes, que entiendes
Y que usted está de acuerdo con saber que todo el trabajo puede ser hecho por usted
Pero todas las alabanzas y gracias que le pertenecen a Él
Un inadaptado es aquel que se siente incómodo con su entorno
Y se ve que es perturbadoramente diferente a los demás
Y como inadaptados una de nuestras mayores molestias es la inconsistencia entre nuestros compañeros
No importa lo que pase, permanecemos llenos de carácter e integridad
Sin cesar, sin parar, ¿por qué?
Porque nos damos cuenta de que esto es más que una moda, o un término de moda, o una camiseta
Este es un estilo de vida, y es un compromiso con Dios
Y como inadaptados viviendo bajo el mandato de Jesucristo
No tomamos nuestros compromisos a la ligera
Nuestro sí, es sí. Y nuestro no, no es
