Silent Skies
It's a rude awakening
Who knew what today would bring
Twin giants have been brought down to their knees
I stand stunned and horrified
Senselessly so many died
Will the gods in heaven ever hear our pleas
Underneath these Silent Skies
Is there room for compromise
Amidst our endless suffering and grief
Only angels fly above
Their capacity for love
Tied forever to our dwindling belief
We stand united filled with scorn
So many countless souls to mourn
The vultures peer towards opportunity
Rushing in, though panic fueled
Hastily the Barons ruled
But at what cost to our fading Liberty?
This has happened all before
Recent news is ancient lore
Only different fingers pointing out the blame
No single engine overhead
Once alive the skies are dead
And with it Innocence will never be the same

Entrando apresuradamente, aunque el pánico alimentado
Rápidamente los Barones gobernaron
Pero ¿a qué costo para nuestra Libertad desvaneciente?

Las noticias recientes son leyenda antigua
Solo dedos diferentes señalando la culpa
Ningún motor único arriba
