Vou vivendo sorrindo e cantando
Tenho mais é que ser mesmo assim
As barreiras que surgem na estrada eu não temo nada,Deus cuida de mim
Muitas vezes o mar se levanta e as ondas quer me sufocar
Eu me vejo a beira da morte,mas Deus é mais forte que os vendavais
É por isso que vou caminhando, sorrindo e cantando,e não posso parar
Quando a vida aqui for findando estarei cantando em outro lugar
De repente lá vem a tristeza tentando me fazer calar
Eu me lembro de paulo e silas, então me inspiro e começo a cantar
Sinto algo invadindo a minha alma
Eu me esqueço da angústia e da dor,ninguém vence um povo que canta
Que tem na garganta um alto louvor
Eu canto porque sou alegre,também canto porque sou feliz
Confesso que eu não sabia que cantar pra cristo era tão bom assim
Descobri o tesouro escondido só me resta agora cantar
O que vir sobre mim não importa
Nem mesmo a morte não vai me calar

I forget about anguish and pain, no one defeats a people who sing
Who have in their throats a high praise
I sing because I am joyful, I also sing because I am happy
I confess that I didn't know that singing for Christ was so good
I discovered the hidden treasure, now all that's left is to sing
What comes over me doesn't matter
Not even death will silence me
