Just a Lazy Day
It's a hot and sunny day,
all of the neighbours are melting.
They're sweating their blues away
and me, I just let 'em.
'cos I'm lying in the shades
doing absolutely nothing.
I'm throwing my life away :
just a lazy day.
And the sun is beating us down
and the cars are washed in slow motion
as the sweat falls from their eyes,
making its way back to the ocean.
And the days have all passed out,
it's a good day to sell lotion.
And there's nothing I should do,
except lie here
and think of you.

Es un día caluroso y soleado,
todos los vecinos se están derritiendo.
Están sudando sus penas
y yo, simplemente los dejo.
Porque estoy acostado en la sombra

solo un día perezoso.
