O Messias
Prenderam João Batista, Calaram sua voz
Só por falar a verdade, não media dificuldades de falar o que Deus mandava
Na sela fria e escura, João começa a refletir
Quando pregava no deserto, a multidão estava perto, e muitos paravam pra lhe ouvir
Coração angustiado, todos o abandonaram, João se sentia assim
Pensou na sua chamada, sua hora era chegada, aproxima o seu fim
Parece que vejo o desespero tomar conta do seu coração
Chamou dois discípulos e disse João
Vão correndo ao encontro de Jesus
Pergunte pra Ele: Se Ele é quem eu falei? Os motivos das mensagens que preguei?
Vem acalmar meu coração!
E os discípulos de João saíram a procura de Jesus pelo caminho
E o encontrou pregando o Reino de Deus pra uma grande multidão
E os discípulos de Jesus perguntaram aos discípulos de João: O que fazem aqui?
E disseram: Queremos falar com Jesus
E Jesus então interrompe o seu sermão e para para ouvi-los
E lhes pergunta: O que aconteceu?
E disseram: João está preso e Herodes procura matá-lo
E ele nos mandou lhe perguntar Mestre: Se Tu és o Messias que ele pregou?
Se Tu és o motivo das mensagens que ele pregou? Que arrebatou milhões e milhões de pessoas?
Ou se havemos de esperar outro?
Jesus pegando na mão dos discípulos saiu no meio daquela multidão onde havia ali uma ala de cegos, coxos, mudos e surdos
E Jesus andando no meio deles diz assim
Vai lá e diga a João que Eu não é só o que vocês ouviram, mas o que vocês
Também vão acabar de ver
Vai lá e diga a João: Que o mudo fala, o surdo ouve, o cego vê
Vai lá e diga a João: Que o paralítico sai saltando de prazer
Vai lá e diga a João: Que Eu Sou Aquele mesmo que ele pregou
Vai lá e diga a João: Que da humanidade Eu Sou o Salvador
Eu sou Jesus Cristo, o Filho de Deus
The Messiah
They arrested John the Baptist, they silenced his voice
Just by speaking the truth, he did not have difficulty saying what God commanded
In the cold and dark saddle, João begins to reflect
When he preached in the desert, the crowd was close, and many stopped to listen to him
Anguished heart, everyone abandoned him, João felt like this
He thought about his call, his time has come, his end approaches
It seems like I see despair taking over your heart
He called two disciples and said John
They run to meet Jesus
Ask Him: If He is who I said? The reasons for the messages I preached?
Come calm my heart!
And John's disciples went out looking for Jesus along the way
And found him preaching the Kingdom of God to a large crowd
And the disciples of Jesus asked the disciples of John: What are you doing here?
And they said: We want to talk to Jesus
And Jesus then interrupts his sermon and stops to listen to them
And he asks them: What happened?
And they said, John is in prison, and Herod seeks to kill him
And he told us to ask him Master: If You are the Messiah that he preached?
If You are the reason for the messages he preached? That captured millions and millions of people?
Or should we wait for another?
Jesus, taking the hands of the disciples, went out into the midst of that crowd where there was a ward of blind, lame, mute and deaf people
And Jesus walking among them says this
Go there and tell João that I is not just what you heard, but what you
You will also end up seeing
Go there and tell John: That the mute speaks, the deaf hears, the blind sees
Go there and tell João: That the paralytic leaves jumping with pleasure
Go there and tell John: That I am the same one he preached
Go there and tell John: That of humanity I Am the Savior
I am Jesus Christ, the Son of God
