Opalite (Track by Track)
Opalite is a song on my album that I think is just so infectiously, contagiously happy and it's-it's really an expression of happiness
The, the song is itself about choosing happiness and getting through rough times, you know adversity
And really choosing your own joy and your own sort of path to joy, and it didn't just happen accidentally for you
Opalite is actually a man-made opal, so I kinda took that metaphor of a man-made gemstone and applied it to, well, you know, what if you make your own happiness in life
I really loved that sort of comparison between the two and that analogy, and it turned into one of my favorite songs on the album

Opalita es una canción de mi álbum que creo que es tan infecciosamente, contagiosamente feliz y es, es realmente una expresión de felicidad.
La canción trata sobre elegir la felicidad y superar momentos difíciles, ya sabes, la adversidad.
Y realmente elegir tu propia alegría y tu propio camino hacia la alegría, y no sucedió por accidente para ti.
Opalita es en realidad un ópalo hecho por el hombre, así que tomé esa metáfora de una gema artificial y la apliqué a, bueno, ya sabes, ¿qué tal si creas tu propia felicidad en la vida?
Me encantó esa comparación entre los dos y esa analogía, y se convirtió en una de mis canciones favoritas del álbum.
