Tímidamente los hombres
Llevando sombrero en mano
Se inclinan mordiendo un ruego
Llegando al viejo santuario.
Las mujeres y los niños
En corrillos apretados
Se persignan y le rezan
Su amor a san cayetano.
La procesión encendida
Con sirios y con reclamos
Corea un cantico antiguo

San cayetano te pido
Que tenga pan y trabajo
No nos dejes sin tu ayuda
Bendito san cayetano.
"el que debe responder
No ha de ser san cayetano
Los que deben responder
Están mirando a otro lado."

En tierra quieren el premio
