Glad I've Passed the Test
Seems like there's something everyday,
Some new test that comes my way. (Something everyday)
I never know what it might be
But whatever it might be
I know I have the key
Coz’ I can face it if I'm steady
And prepare so I'll be ready
How to act and what to say
When a challenge comes my way
At times it's tough for me out there
And so I turn to God in prayer
I pray I'll pass each test
Everyone that comes my way
I pray I'll pass each test
And be faithful through the day
Some things I know I'll face again,
Like the pressure to fit in. (Face it once again)
There will be times when other kids,
Do the things that God forbids. (The things that God forbids)
And pressure need to go along with
Kids I know I don't belong with
That's the time I call to mind
I don't want to be that kind
Coz' I'm a witness for God's name
So there's no cause to be ashamed
I'm glad I've passed the test
I was faithful all day long

Contento de haber pasado la prueba
Parece que hay algo todos los días,
Algún nuevo examen que se cruza en mi camino. (Algo todos los días)
Nunca sé qué podría ser,
Pero sea lo que sea,
Sé que tengo la clave.
Porque puedo enfrentarlo si soy constante,
Y me preparo para estar listo,
Cómo actuar y qué decir
Cuando un desafío se presenta en mi camino.
A veces es difícil para mí ahí afuera,
Y es entonces cuando recurro a Dios en oración.
Rezo para pasar cada prueba,
Cada una que se cruce en mi camino.

Y ser fiel a lo largo del día.
Algunas cosas sé que enfrentaré de nuevo,
Como la presión de encajar. (Enfrentarlo una vez más)
Habrá momentos en que otros niños,
Hagan cosas que Dios prohíbe. (Las cosas que Dios prohíbe)
Y la presión de seguir adelante con
Niños con los que sé que no encajo,
Ese es el momento en que recuerdo
Que no quiero ser así,
Porque soy un testigo del nombre de Dios,
Así que no hay motivo para avergonzarme.
Estoy contento de haber pasado la prueba,
Fui fiel todo el día.
Estoy contento de haber pasado la prueba,
Estoy contento de haber sido fuerte.
