Cover your sky with clouds
Concealed in haze, you sleeping grace
You have to leave me my earth
My shelter, my hearth, the blaze you begrudge
Beneath the sun I've never seen more poverty, but yours majesty
I peer at you on high, for a kindred heart to free
To take pity on me
Lost in pain - forever,
Left to die - together
I'm unslaved only by myself - my heart
Should dignify - wherefore,
Should victimize - no more
I was forged to man by the almighty - the time
Yours emperor - Hard and ungracious
I can not die - Suffering eternal pain
I am the master of humanity
I am diggin' in the dirt of the earth
Shaping races that reflect me
I'm creating this self-portrait
Able to suffer and to cry

Creating humans from the ashes
A kind descended from me
To despise and to disobey you
