the roots deep of this wicked tree
they're reaching out seeking to change me
it's struggle enough not live for my "self"
gotta lift up God for he is deserving so well
all this "humanity" and the power it claims
has turned from God to pursure its own way
to do what God does through its own strength?
I see a storm coming - chaos this way
the lies, distorted truths
so many lies
surrounding you
you look to yourselves
to bring you deliverance from hell
to lift yourselves into the place of God
convince yourselves that you cannot be stopped
you'll stop yourselves
environmental, racial conscience so high
your claims are nothing when the fire has died
starting off with that strong p.m.a. (positive mental attitude)
your education's only partial and then you fade
to make a change you gotta lay down your pride
only God can make those changes inside
pride is a fire that burns with no name
careful now that you are not the moths drawn to its flame

están buscando cambiar mi ser
es suficiente luchar para no vivir por mi 'yo'
tengo que elevar a Dios porque se lo merece tanto
toda esta 'humanidad' y el poder que reclama
se ha apartado de Dios para seguir su propio camino
¿hacer lo que Dios hace a través de su propia fuerza?
veo una tormenta acercándose - caos en camino
las mentiras, verdades distorsionadas
tantas mentiras
que te rodean
te miras a ustedes mismos
para encontrar liberación del infierno
para elevarse al lugar de Dios
convencerse de que no pueden ser detenidos
se detendrán ustedes mismos
conciencia ambiental, racial tan alta
tus reclamos no son nada cuando el fuego se ha apagado
comenzando con ese fuerte a.m.p. (actitud mental positiva)
tu educación es solo parcial y luego te desvaneces
para hacer un cambio debes dejar de lado tu orgullo
solo Dios puede hacer esos cambios internos
e orgullo es un fuego que arde sin nombre
tengan cuidado de no ser las polillas atraídas por su llama
