Lizard Skin
She fixed me with her hungry eyes
I couldn't move, she seemed to sigh
The signs she gave were almost clear
She asked me to believe in what she offered
and to loose my fear
The evening I got to her home
I found she didn't live alone
I couldn't stand her temptation, yet
Mankind's existence is threatened by so many things
When I closed my eyes
I felt she wasn´t really human
- So strange and yet so sweet
And when I opened my mind for her
- Singing whistling kind of speaking,
She said that she should know
What I'd need
And I need her
When I awoke, she wasn´t there
I tried to find her everywhere
The only sign, that I could find
Was the reptile skin that she had left behind

Me pidió que creyera en lo que ofrecía
y que perdiera mi miedo
La noche que llegué a su casa
Descubrí que no vivía sola
No podía resistir su tentación, aún así
La existencia de la humanidad está amenazada por tantas cosas
Cuando cerré los ojos
Sentí que no era realmente humana
- Tan extraña y a la vez tan dulce
Y cuando abrí mi mente para ella
- Cantando, silbando, hablando de alguna manera,
Dijo que debería saber
Lo que necesitaría
Y la necesito a ella
Cuando desperté, ella no estaba allí
Intenté encontrarla en todas partes
La única señal que pude encontrar
Era la piel de lagarto que había dejado atrás
