Dark & Stormy
Dark and Stormy walk along
the straight and narrow path
meeting many nights along the way
when the wind starts to blow
they know that it's their time
yesterday is gone but not today
when they see the end is coming
thunder comes a bumping
as dark and stormy walk along the sky
clouds in the sky
can see the mountains high
say hello then soon wave goodbye
the ocean turning dark again
waves getting sharp and then
out of the blue arrives the storm
ravaging the villages
pillaging the houses
destroying the cities
drowning the people
shocking the towers,
you know dark and stormy are here
listening to the mercy cries
children all on sugar highs
the very lowest kind of high
mothers in their book clubs
reverse disguised as crook hubs
read about how little that they know
but when stormy comes out for them all
and dark overtakes their dining halls
they'll know they've made a big mistake
Oscuro y tormentoso
Oscuro y tormentoso caminan
por el camino recto y estrecho
tropezando con muchas noches en el camino
cuando el viento comienza a soplar
saben que es su momento
ayer se fue pero no hoy
cuando ven que el final se acerca
el trueno comienza a retumbar
mientras oscuro y tormentoso caminan por el cielo
nubes en el cielo
pueden ver las montañas altas
saludan y luego se despiden pronto
el océano se vuelve oscuro de nuevo
olas afiladas luego
de la nada llega la tormenta
arrasando los pueblos
saqueando las casas
destruyendo las ciudades
ahogando a la gente
impactando las torres,
sabes que oscuro y tormentoso están aquí
escuchando los gritos de misericordia
los niños todos con subidones de azúcar
el tipo de subidón más bajo
madres en sus clubes de lectura
disfrazadas al revés como centros de ladrones
leen sobre lo poco que saben
pero cuando tormentoso sale para todos ellos
y oscuro se apodera de sus comedores
sabrán que han cometido un gran error
