Er is een klein zwart vlekje op de zon vandaag
Het is hetzelfde oude als gisteren
Er is een zwarte hoed vast in de top van een hoge boom
Er is een vlaggenmastdoek en de wind stopt niet
Ik heb hier eerder gestaan in de stromende regen
Met de wereld die cirkels draait rond mijn hoofd
Ik denk dat ik altijd hoop dat jij deze heerschappij beëindigt

Er is een rijke man die slaapt op een gouden bed
Er is een skelet dat stikt op een korst brood
