A Note On The Kitchen Table
Now you lie awak in the middle of the night.
Lying next to her, your honorable wife.
She's unaware of your intentions tonight.
She just breathes in and out to sustain life.
You grab some paper and a pencil from the drawer.
You sit at the table where she feeds you dinner.
Scratching your head to find the right words,
you're not sure if you can really do this.
