The black clouds of judgment

I know you don't believe in sin
But think of that act you're ashamed of

To face the King of all truth & justice?
Can you stand?
Can you say with confidence

This is the call to leave while
There's still breath in your lungs
This is the call to repentance
Leave
Leave while there's still an exit
Repent on this side of the chasm
Hypocrite. You devote yourself
Hopelessly to things like food
Trying to kill death with good health
Or saving the earth, but still you know
You feel alone and for good reason, I suppose
(Your morality is a plague-sore)
Eternity is no comedy
& laughing about it will bring no remedy
You are lost & you need to understand this
Your best intentions are but
A spider web trying to stop a falling rock
