Hear the dogs chains hit the ground
Let em take off, watch em prance around
Four wheelers right and ready to go
On jump the dogs, on goes my drizabone
My hands are cold, my nose is red
But this bit of dirt,it's what gets me out of bed
Been pulling lambs and checking ewes
Saving lives and saving dollars too
Time for a cup of tea and a piece of carrot cake

Spend an hour training pups
Watch their eyes light up, when they see that first sheep run

The sheep are fat, the grass is green
Set up the yards for marking lambs
That's good real work, i can see it on my hands

And i put up my worn out feet
Vegies in the oven, the house is warm
