Watercolor Souls

The Treasure Tragedy

I move like calm water on a quiet day
You come in gentle, splashing color my way
Two tones meeting where the edges fray
Blending slow in the softest sway

You're steady like lines that never lose place
I spill in curves, drifting out of the frame's embrace
But somehow we fit in this shared space
Turning small strokes into something we trace

Every hue that slips between our hands
Finds a place where both of us can stand

Watercolor souls mixing in the calm
Fading one into the other like a quiet song
You and I brushing through the dawn
Two hearts learning how to carry on

I tend to run fast, pull away too soon
You steady my pace like a simple tune
And when I lean close in this little cocoon
I feel our tones settling in gentle bloom

You bring the spark that keeps my world awake
Painting warmth in every step we take
And when we meet in that fragile break
We find new shapes no rules can make

Every mark we lay across the page
Finds its way, no matter the shade

Watercolor souls mixing in the calm
Fading one into the other like a quiet song
You and I brushing through the dawn
Two hearts learning how to carry on

Maybe we're meant to blur this way
Letting soft tones guide the day
Let me fall in where your colors stay
I'll meet you there, come what may

Watercolor souls mixing in the calm
Fading one into the other like a quiet song
You and I brushing through the dawn
Two hearts learning how to carry on

Let the colors run
We'll stay strong
