In the event of a nuclear attack, get on the floor and cover your head and the back of your neck. If you're walking, dive into the gutter, it's a safe place. Get behind a tree, get behind a pole, put something behind you and that bright light. Because the first few seconds of that bright light contain more radioactive power than anybody can withstand. Immediately afterwards, head for the nearest shelter. As you walk down the street, look for a civil defense sign pointing to the shelter nearest you. In your metropolitan downtown areas, big buildings, department stores, all have basements. Any building built with concrete or cement blocks offers an excellent opportunity for protection. Follow all of these rules, and YOU WILL SURVIVE.

En caso de un ataque nuclear, tírate al suelo y cubre tu cabeza y la parte posterior de tu cuello. Si estás caminando, tírate al alcantarillado, es un lugar seguro. Ponte detrás de un árbol, ponte detrás de un poste, pon algo detrás de ti y esa luz brillante. Porque los primeros segundos de esa luz brillante contienen más poder radioactivo de lo que cualquiera puede resistir. Inmediatamente después, dirígete al refugio más cercano. Mientras caminas por la calle, busca un letrero de defensa civil que te indique el refugio más cercano. En las áreas metropolitanas, los grandes edificios, los grandes almacenes, todos tienen sótanos. Cualquier edificio construido con concreto o bloques de cemento ofrece una excelente oportunidad de protección. Sigue todas estas reglas, ¡Y SOBREVIVIRÁS!
