I gave up, didn’t fight, left Christ behind
Pain hit hard, darkness clouded my mind
Every day was a battle, giants in the way
I couldn’t find myself, so I chose to stray
You know those days when you’re all alone?
Even surrounded by crowds, you feel unknown
Yeah, I’ve been there, I’ve seen that too
Locked in my room, no light breaking through
I was lost in the darkness, drowning in pain
Trying to fill the void but it was all in vain
Jesus called my name, pulled me from the fight
Now I walk in freedom, living in the light
I hit the streets with the wrong crowd, wrong time
Chasing the rush, ignoring the signs
Every bad choice just made me fall deeper
Thought I was a player, but I was the sleeper
The drugs took my mind, the lies took my soul
The pain in my family started to unfold
And to numb the ache, I went down darker roads
But those paths only led to heavier loads
Now picture this: The guy selling stones
Could’ve handed out Bibles, rebuilding homes
What if every corner wasn’t a war zone?
And every broken life found a cornerstone?
I was lost in the darkness, drowning in pain
Trying to fill the void but it was all in vain
Jesus called my name, pulled me from the fight
Now I walk in freedom, living in the light
Brother, come back, it’s never too late
Grace is waiting right outside the gate
The life you’re chasing will only destroy
But Christ gives peace, real love, and joy
Lost in the chaos, caught in the madness
Running through shadows, consumed by sadness
Chains on my wrists, scars on my past
Felt like the pain would forever last
Thought I was winning, but it was a scam
Living for the gram, chasing the glam
Falling like sand through the hourglass hand
Building my house on the sinkin' land
Drugs and deceit, couldn't compete
Devil had me trapped, tied up in defeat
But then came the light, cut through the night
Christ on my side, now I’m ready to fight
Flippin' the script, truth on my lips
Breaking the cycle, the chains gotta rip
Faith in my veins, blood through the brain
Transforming my heart, releasing the pain
I was trapped in the fire, lost in the storm
A soul so broken, my spirit torn
But then He came, His love displayed
All my burdens, they started to fade
Jesus reached out, broke every chain
Pulled me from darkness, healed my pain
Now I stand free, my story retold
From ashes to life, with Him I’m whole
So I tell the world, let it be known
Jesus saved me, and now I’m home

Pensé que era un jugador, pero era el que dormía
Las drogas se llevaron mi mente, las mentiras mi alma
El dolor en mi familia comenzó a desnudarse
Y para adormecer el sufrimiento, tomé caminos más oscuros
Pero esos senderos solo llevaban a cargas más pesadas
Ahora imagina esto: el tipo vendiendo piedras
Podría haber repartido Biblias, reconstruyendo hogares
¿Qué pasaría si cada esquina no fuera una zona de guerra?
Y cada vida rota encontrara un cimiento?
Estaba perdido en la oscuridad, ahogándome en el dolor
Tratando de llenar el vacío, pero todo fue en vano
Jesús llamó mi nombre, me sacó de la pelea
Ahora camino en libertad, viviendo en la luz
Hermano, vuelve, nunca es demasiado tarde
La gracia te espera justo afuera de la puerta
La vida que persigues solo te destruirá
Pero Cristo da paz, amor verdadero y alegría
Perdido en el caos, atrapado en la locura
Corriendo entre sombras, consumido por la tristeza
Cadenas en mis muñecas, cicatrices en mi pasado
Sentía que el dolor duraría para siempre
Pensé que estaba ganando, pero era una estafa
Viviendo para el gram, persiguiendo el glamour
Cayendo como arena a través del reloj de arena
Construyendo mi casa en la tierra que se hunde
Drogas y engaños, no podía competir
El diablo me tenía atrapado, atado en la derrota
Pero luego vino la luz, cortó la noche
Cristo a mi lado, ahora estoy listo para luchar
Cambiando el guion, verdad en mis labios
Rompiendo el ciclo, las cadenas deben romperse
Fe en mis venas, sangre en el cerebro
Transformando mi corazón, liberando el dolor
Estaba atrapado en el fuego, perdido en la tormenta
Un alma tan rota, mi espíritu desgarrado
Pero luego Él vino, Su amor se mostró
Todas mis cargas comenzaron a desvanecerse
Jesús extendió la mano, rompió cada cadena
Me sacó de la oscuridad, sanó mi dolor
Ahora estoy libre, mi historia contada de nuevo
De cenizas a vida, con Él estoy completo
Así que le digo al mundo, que se sepa
Jesús me salvó, y ahora estoy en casa
