The "Pelaos" and The "Guatones"

Tito Fernandez

sencillos, tranquilos, gente seria,
no hay nada mejor que algún "pelao"
sentao, por ahí entremedio, en una mesa.

Los pelaos, los guatones,
las enaguas, los calzones.
Pelaos guatones, guatones, pelaos,
hacen una ruma bien amontonaos.

Canto

Yo he visto a un "guatón" hacerle empeño

"Pelaos", "guatones", "guatones", "pelaos",

cochino y sinvergüenza;
los "guatones" son, todos, buena gente.

The "Pelaos" and The "Guatones"

Spoken (without music)

There are no "guatón" who are bad people,
nor "pelao" that is shameless,
both, although they seem different,
They are carbon copies if you look at them patiently.

The "guatones", for example, are friendly,
friends of the flower, here, the good food,
a "guatón", good-natured, of good class,
okay, in silver, almost everything that weighs.

And what do you tell me about the "pelaos"?
simple, calm, serious people,
There is nothing better than some "pelao"
sit down, somewhere in between, at a table.

The pelaos, the guatones,
the petticoats, the panties.
Pelaos guatones, guatones, pelaos,
They make a good pile up.

Singing

Like I saw you, "guatón", with Rosalía
the "wadding" down and the "legs" up.
Like I saw you, pelao, with a "chuico" on your chest
Juana below and the "cachos" on the roof.

Spoken (without music)

There are no "guatón" who are bad people,
nor "pelao" that is shameless,
both, although they seem different,
They are carbon copies if you look at them patiently.

The "guatones", for example, are dry compared to the "pipeño",
for white for red, or whatever comes.
I have seen a "guaton" try to
and eat a mare up to the reins.

Half a dozen pigs for the guatón,
This is life, damn it! let's see? let it happen again
bring me another "chuico" and another sanguch'ejamón,
We are not going to leave the visit hungry.

And what do you tell me about the "pelaos"?
or are merchants or office workers,
They spend it signing a booklet, there,
where they have spent half their lives.

The "pelao"? inevitable in the Stadium.
The "pelao"? unbeatable in the audience.
You can't look down on a "pelao", I say,
no matter how "chascón" or "pelúo" one is.

The "pelaos", the "guatones",
those who spend, the voyeurs.
"Pelaos", "guatones", "guatones", "pelaos",
They make a "ruma", pile up well.

The "pelaos" and the "guatones", in appearance,
sometimes they seem different to us,
but no (iñor) there is a single "pelao" intruder,
filthy and shameless;
The "guatons" are all good people.
