Self Examination

Yeah we was born sinners man, dead in the flesh
Unfamiliar with the Lord's livin man, He bled to the death
But we love our sin instead of Him, we fans of the flesh
If you think I'm lyin man, put a man to the test
We all full of lies, full of pride, full of dirty lust
And we put our lives ahead of God's Word we should trust
We all knew it was a dude above who made everything
But we run a way, love our ways, and never gave Him praise
But for some of us He made a way up out of this dilemma
He sent His Son, and he was strung out for wicked sinners
Now all we gotta do is trust upon the righteousness of Christ
And He got something new for us (What?), the righteousness of Christ
You may believe it man, but have you trusted in Him yet?
And realized your sinful life will thrust you into death?
And that you need Him cause in the flesh man is fadin
Time for self examination like you was the Dr and the patient

A lot of us claim to be believers but we slack in our walk
And we goin around everyday without our backs to the cross
And when it comes to servin Christ, we standin on the wall
But we say we Christian cause we went up for the altar call
That don't mean that we believers, that don't mean we saved from flames
If we ain't workin for Him our faith is dead like it say in James
If it ain't no better livin, we the same and steady sinnin
Just know that faith without fruit wasn't faith from the beginnin
It's a lot of kids that got it twisted thinking they saved
But homie they aint bout tha Fathers biz they sleep in they graves
And they gon be real disappointed man when they face judgement
And all along they though that they was saved, but they really wasn't

Autoexamen

Sí, nacimos pecadores, muertos en la carne
Desconocidos del hombre viviente del Señor, Él sangró hasta la muerte
Pero amamos nuestro pecado en lugar de Él, somos fanáticos de la carne
Si piensas que miento, pon a prueba a un hombre
Todos estamos llenos de mentiras, llenos de orgullo, llenos de sucia lujuria
Y ponemos nuestras vidas por delante de la Palabra de Dios en la que deberíamos confiar
Todos sabíamos que había un tipo arriba que hizo todo
Pero nos alejamos, amamos nuestros caminos y nunca le dimos alabanza
Pero para algunos de nosotros Él hizo un camino fuera de este dilema
Envió a Su Hijo, y él fue crucificado por pecadores malvados
Ahora todo lo que tenemos que hacer es confiar en la justicia de Cristo
Y Él tiene algo nuevo para nosotros (¿Qué?), la justicia de Cristo
Puedes creerlo hombre, pero ¿ya has confiado en Él?
¿Y te has dado cuenta de que tu vida pecaminosa te llevará a la muerte?
Y que lo necesitas porque en la carne el hombre se está desvaneciendo
Es hora de un autoexamen como si fueras el doctor y el paciente

Muchos de nosotros afirmamos ser creyentes pero flojeamos en nuestra caminata
Y vamos por ahí todos los días sin dar la espalda a la cruz
Y cuando se trata de servir a Cristo, estamos parados en la pared
Pero decimos que somos cristianos porque subimos al llamado del altar
Eso no significa que seamos creyentes, eso no significa que estemos salvados del fuego
Si no estamos trabajando para Él, nuestra fe está muerta como dice en Santiago
Si no hay una vida mejor, somos los mismos y seguimos pecando
Solo debes saber que la fe sin fruto no era fe desde el principio
Hay muchos jóvenes que lo tienen mal interpretado pensando que están salvados
Pero amigo, no están en los negocios del Padre, duermen en sus tumbas
Y estarán muy decepcionados cuando enfrenten el juicio
Y todo el tiempo pensaron que estaban salvados, pero realmente no lo estaban
El pecado es repugnante para el Padre, apenas puede soportarlo
Y la marca del creyente es obedecer a Sus mandamientos
Así que si estamos contentos en nuestro pecado, no buscamos a Jesús
Realmente necesitamos hacerlo porque es posible que ni siquiera seamos creyentes
