I walk alone in shadowed streets

In the darkness I'm not found
Their venomous lies they leave me bound
Can I scream can I run away
Forever caught in this dismay
I'm drowning in this poisoned play
Can’t find my way can’t find my day
These masks they wear are smiles so fake
With every step the ground will quake
In their grins my heart will break
In their shadows my soul they take
Oh I pray for a single light
To guide me through the endless night
Toxic people in toxic sight
Will I ever find my fight
Can I scream can I run away
Forever caught in this dismay
