Muito embora, um só Jesus exista
Nem todos sabem vê-lo como é
Filósofo, poeta ou comunista
Ou mesmo um hippie, já se disse, até
Mas, Jesus é bem mais importante
Quando se sabe de Seu grande amor
E é preciso, hoje, que se cante
Jesus, Filho de Deus, o Salvador!
Por todo mundo procurei
Verdade e amor com que sonhei
Vazio achei ao meu redor, nada melhor
Nada melhor
Ao ver a vida se perder, tão fraco, eu penso em que fazer
Quem vem trazer a solução da direção? Da direção
Tanta procura e ilusão, a vida escura e sem razão
Viver a troco de não ser, melhor morrer, melhor morrer

Caminho estreito, eu vi a cruz
E no meu peito o céu em luz
Meu sonho, a paz, achei enfim

But, Jesus is much more important
When one knows of His great love
And it is necessary today to sing

I searched all over the world
For the truth and love I dreamed of
I found emptiness around me, nothing better

Seeing life slipping away, so weak, I wonder what to do
Who will bring the solution, the direction? The direction
So much searching and illusion, life dark and senseless
Living in exchange for not being, better to die, better to die

I saw the narrow path, I saw the cross
And in my heart, the sky in light
I found my dream, peace at last
