Tormented Souls
The Lord made this planet of beauty and grace
Where peace is the ruler and love has its place
Destruction's around
The tormenting sound
Hate lives within and it's fed by sin
We've got brutalization, fornication, false witness and feeble lies
Where is the peace now?
Where is the love now?
Can't somebody hear our cries?
I have heard your prayers
Child, I've wept your tears
In this world of heart-corruption
You can not be hurt
We're plagued by war, the inhuman gore
Tormented souls living scattered like crows
We're controlled by greed, the everlasting need
Always wanting more until something dies
Where is the peace now?
Where is the love now?
Can't somebody hear our cries?
I have heard your prayers
Child, I've wept your tears
In this world of self-destruction
You can break free
The Lord sent His only son
So that he who receives Him need not fear the terrors of this world
Because He is above the world and the battle is already won
