Sali un dia con mi amigo y su dinero a buscar diversion
Tenia un carro del año
ropa moderna y en su cuello un cadenon
Me presento sus amitadas profesionales de alta posicion
Y yo solo aparentaba tener dinero para formar mas union
Conoci una muchacha de ojos azules y cuerpo fenomenal
Dije que era el hijo de un doctor para poderle interesar
La invite a salir y me miro de arriba a abajo
hasta que quizo aceptar
Y no sabia que estaba formando parte del mundo artificial

Al llegar a mi casa me puse la mejor ropa que tenia
Era la cita mas cara de mi vida asi que vacie mi alcancia
Cogi el carro de mi tio prestado y sin decir hacia donde iba
Conduci a la casa de la chica
y era un palacio desde abajo hasta arriba
Toque la puerta, abrio el papa y pregunto, "?Tines Dinero?"
Y yo le dije usted despreocupese
que eso para mi es lo primero
Me invito a pasar me invito a senar pero para ser bien sincero
Me sntia como un simple guzano en el medio de un gallinero
Por fin salimos, fuimos al cine y gozamos sin descanzar
Todo lo que ella tocara con la vista yo lo tenia que comprar
Pero, que importa,
nos hicimos novios y nos fuimos a celebrar
Y mi mente no comprendia
que ella estaba en el mundo artificial

En esos dias tuve que trabajar duro hasta mas no poder
Y todo ese lo hacia para que mis panas ricos pudieran ver

de cualquier posicion la podia complacer
Su supuesto amor que sentia por mi la hizo pensar en la boda
Y yo me dije a mi mismo "Dios mio pero quien me salva ahora"
Y solamente para que todos me dijeran "Vico-C el casanova"
Decidi complacerla y convertirla para siempre en mi senora
Conclui en que mi pobreza ya no la tenia que negar
Ella decia juraba y aseguraba que siempre me iba a adorar
La lleve a mi casa para que se pudiera familiarizar
Y ahi comenzo la tragedia hecha por el mundo artificial

Al mirar los humildes muebles que adornaban mi apartamento
Se mostro extranada y se fue, sin tan siquiera tomar asiento
Y yo, que no comprendia lo que pasaba en esos momentos
Decidi perseguirla, pero mis pasos fueron demasiado lentos
Me llamo y me confeso que fue una gran desilucion
Y yo afectado le dije que queria una simple explicacion
Me dijo que habiamos terminado sin la minima compasion
Y colgo el telefono, y esa fue su ultima decision
Decidi salir a buscarla pues yo no podia aceptar
Que me dejara asi porque si con todas mis dudas sin aclarar
Al llegar a su casa mis lagrimas se empezaron a derramar
Cuando la vi con amigo el rico

modern clothes and a big chain around his neck
He introduced me to his professional friends in high positions
And I just pretended to have money to form more connections
I met a girl with blue eyes and a phenomenal body
I said I was a doctor's son to catch her interest
I asked her out and she looked me up and down
until she agreed
And I didn't know I was becoming part of the artificial world

When I got home I put on the best clothes I had
It was the most expensive date of my life so I emptied my piggy bank
I borrowed my uncle's car and without saying where I was going
I drove to the girl's house
and it was a palace from top to bottom
I knocked on the door, her dad opened it and asked, 'Do you have money?'
And I told him not to worry
that's my top priority
He invited me in, invited me to dinner but to be honest
I felt like a simple worm in the middle of a chicken coop
Finally, we went out, went to the movies and enjoyed without stopping

And I, who didn't understand what was happening at that moment
Decided to follow her, but my steps were too slow
She called me and confessed it was a big disappointment
And I, affected, asked for a simple explanation
She said we were over without the slightest compassion
And hung up the phone, that was her final decision
I decided to go look for her because I couldn't accept
That she left me like that with all my doubts unanswered
When I got to her house, my tears started to fall
When I saw her with her rich friend
