Décimas por el nacimiento
El niño Jesús nació
en el portal de Belén,
la estrella de sumo bien
a los Magos le' alumbró.
El mundo resplandeció
con pitos y panderetas,
bajaron siete cometas
a ver este nacimiento,
los altos del firmamento
que abrieron para la fiesta.
Los fieles del Redentor
acuden muy presurosos
a presenciar el hermoso
regalo del gran Señor.
Adiós a nuestro dolor,
válganos la penitencia,
hagamos la reverencia
en este humilde portal
porque envuelto en un pañal
vino Dios a la existencia.
Gloriosa la noche aquella
cuando la Virgen sufrió
y al mundo un hijo le dio
más claro que una centella.
Bajáronse las estrellas,
cantaron los pajaritos,
sabiendo que Jesucristo
venido a cristianizarlos
y por amor a salvarlos
con su dolor infinito.
Ahí está la Virgen pura
al lado de San José,
con el niñito son tres,
se miran con gran ternura.
No ha habío ni habrá dulzura
más grande en intensidad
que la de la Navidad
cuando bajó de los cielos
a darnos su gran consuelo
el Dios de la cristiandad.
Tenth for the Birth
Baby Jesus was born
in Bethlehem's stable,
the star of great good
shone on the Magi.
The world shone bright
with whistles and tambourines,
seven comets came down
to see this birth,
the heights of the sky
opened up for the celebration.
The faithful of the Redeemer
hasten eagerly
to witness the beautiful
gift from the great Lord.
Goodbye to our pain,
may penance help us,
let's bow down
at this humble portal
because wrapped in swaddling clothes
God came into existence.
Glorious was that night
when the Virgin suffered
and gave the world a son
brighter than a spark.
The stars came down,
the birds sang,
knowing that Jesus Christ
came to Christianize them
and out of love to save them
with his infinite pain.
There is the pure Virgin
by the side of Saint Joseph,
with the little child they are three,
they look at each other with great tenderness.
There has been and will be no sweetness
greater in intensity
than that of Christmas
when he came down from the heavens
to give us his great comfort
the God of Christianity.
