Nativa cor que foi presente
Pintou as dores da escravidão
A resistência mudou de cor e renasceu
Com a força e a fé do negro
E ao quilombo ascendeu
Nosso ideal de liberdade
Cansado de ter nos ombros
Descanso do senhor, ecoou...
Que o brasileiro tem o seu valor!
Meu Deus ajude o trabalhador!
E a imigração cruzou o azul do mar
Em nosso campo ver a vida melhorar
Voz de quem resistiu, a Era Vargas ouviu

Tempo de industrialização,
Candangos, então, erguem Brasília
