El quinto de 7 que dio a luz mi madre
De niño profesé con que iba a ser grande
No me nombraron de una manera en balde
Y hay cosas de las que nunca he de olvidarme
Del calzado roto y lo que es tener hambre
Desde muy temprano me tocó chambearle
De vacaciones me iba pa' las parcelas
Aprovechaba el tiempo que no había escuela
Pa' aguantar el sol y agarrar una feria
Así fue mi infancia labrando la tierra
Pero a los catorce vino a mi cabeza
Ser el encargado de tomar las riendas
En el 2007 empecé el recorrido
Un currículum de años muy extendido
Me agarró confianza el pueblo, me hizo amigo
Y así fue que en breve me gané el cariño
Por eso ando siempre en las labores
Trabajo pa' que el pueblo mejore
Así fue que un día me llegaría mi turno
Me hice presidente allá por el 21
Y en Yurécuaro sonó mi nombre
Porque fui graduado con honores
De la capital les hablo, de Morelia
Donde comencé con toda esta experiencia
Yo sé que no todo han sido cosas buenas
Mi madre luchando pa' darnos escuela
18 años trabajó sin freno
Hoy que le cumplí me siento pleno
Constancia y perseverancia eso es un hecho
Lo que formarán a un hombre de respeto
No se confundan no ando haciendo maldades
Más bien soy el que trata todos los males
Pa' mi gente y pa' todo mi pueblo
Haciendo cualquier tipo de arreglo
Soy alegre y así seré recordado
Orgullosamente yo soy Michoacano

The fifth of seven that my mother gave birth to
As a kid, I swore I’d be something big
They didn’t name me just for kicks
And there are things I’ll never forget
Like worn-out shoes and what it’s like to be hungry
From a young age, I had to hustle hard
On vacation, I’d head to the fields
Making the most of the time when school was out
To endure the sun and earn some cash
That’s how my childhood was, working the land
But at fourteen, it hit me
To take charge and steer the ship
In 2007, I started my journey
A resume built over many years
The town took me in, made me a friend
And that’s how I quickly earned their love
That’s why I’m always working
I work for the town to get better
One day, my time would come
I became president back in '21
And in Yurécuaro, my name rang out
Because I graduated with honors
I’m talking about the capital, Morelia
Where I started all this experience
I know it hasn’t all been good times
My mother fought to give us an education
She worked for 18 years without a break
Now that I’m grown, I feel fulfilled
Consistency and perseverance, that’s a fact
That’s what shapes a man of respect
Don’t get it twisted, I’m not up to no good
I’m the one who tackles all the issues
For my people and for my town
Making all kinds of arrangements
I’m cheerful, and that’s how I’ll be remembered
