Wars, deaths, and tragedies, I’ve seen it all
I chose to live for Jesus
It’s tough, I know
In a world where everything pointed to evil
I chose the priesthood for myself
Amidst wars and wickedness
I just want love, I just want freedom
In times of persecution against the church
I found myself lost and without family
That’s when I found the love of Mary
And became her slave for all my life

They tried to kill me
But it was just a scare
They chased me and heard every word I said
From hearing so much, my heart opened up

With a life dedicated to the divine
