From a journey through the night
I was headed to the light
One voice… it captivated me
And carried me away
Toward a higher state
One sound… it took my breath away
It fascinated me
And led me to concede
To this word
Days go by and moments disappear
As falling tears in rain
As ember from a flame
But this word, resonating still
Intoxicating me
A desire burns in me
To believe in something more than days
That would carry me afar
