Contemplating another
Time
Or place
Where any of this
Never was
This lake has dried up
And with it the leaves turn to blood
I lie wounded on battlefield
With no embracing arms to grasp me
Towards unseen
Knowing the future, though
Literally, coming into form
As if never was
