De onde vens, pra onde vais?
Foi a pergunta que o anjo do Senhor fez a Hagar
E ela respondeu: Fui humilhada, fui desprezada, então fugi
Fui rejeitada, abandonada, por isso estou aqui
Neste deserto, sem ter por perto um ombro amigo
Me levantar recomeçar, já não consigo
Mas, por favor, fala, Senhor
Fala comigo
Volta tua semente eu irei multiplicar
Abençoada e numerosa ela será
Pois quem se humilha a vitória sempre alcança
Volta Sou Deus que ouço, e já ouvi tua aflição
Terás um filho descendente de Abraão
E Ismael será o nome da criança
Foste humilhado, envergonhado então fugiu
Fostes desprezado, abandonado
Por isso desistiu
Volta não é momento de parar de desistir
Pois o melhor de Deus ainda esta por vir
Se humilhar é a saída é o caminho
Volta Deus vai mudar, hoje a tua situação
Porque és filha descendente de Abraão
Neste deserto você não estas sozinho

E o que vais responder
Hagar's Story
Where do you come from, where are you going?
That's the question the Lord's angel asked Hagar
And she replied: I was humiliated, I was scorned, so I ran away
I was rejected, abandoned, that's why I'm here
In this desert, without a friendly shoulder nearby
To lift me up and start over, I can't do it anymore
But please, speak, Lord
Speak to me
I will multiply your seed if you return
Blessed and numerous it will be
For those who humble themselves always achieve victory
Return I am the God who listens, and I have heard your distress
You will have a son, a descendant of Abraham
And Ishmael will be the child's name
You were humiliated, ashamed, so you ran away
You were scorned, abandoned
That's why you gave up
Return it's not the time to stop giving up
For the best of God is yet to come
Humbling yourself is the way
Return God will change your situation today
Because you are a daughter, a descendant of Abraham
In this desert you are not alone
