Great Speckled Bird
What a beautiful thought I am thinking concerning the great speckled bird
Remember her name is recorded on the pages of God's holy word
Desiring to lower her standards they watch every move that she makes
But they long to find fault with her teaching but really they find no mistakes
I am glad I have learned of her meekness I am proud that my name is on her book
For I want to be one never fearing the face of my Saviour's true look
When he comes descending from heaven on the cloud as he write in his word
I'll be joyfully carried to meet him on the wings of the great speckled bird

Qué pensamiento tan hermoso estoy teniendo acerca del gran pájaro manchado
Recuerda que su nombre está registrado en las páginas de la santa palabra de Dios
Deseando rebajar sus estándares, observan cada movimiento que ella hace
Pero anhelan encontrar fallas en su enseñanza, aunque en realidad no encuentran errores
Me alegra haber aprendido de su humildad, estoy orgulloso de que mi nombre esté en su libro
Porque quiero ser uno que nunca tema el rostro verdadero de mi Salvador
Cuando él descienda del cielo en la nube como está escrito en su palabra
Seré llevado con alegría a encontrarme con él en las alas del gran pájaro manchado
