Eu era aquele que ninguém valorizou
O improvável que ninguém acreditou
Na casa do meu pai eu era o menor

Mas o Senhor me viu no campo
Mesmo cansado adorando

Pois Samuel iria me ungir
Quem diria
Que logo eu iria derrotar Golias
Que logo eu seria coroado Rei
O menino do campo se tornou segundo coração de Deus!
Logo eu, cheio de transgressões, tão falho e pecador
Mas a misericórdia de Deus me alcançou
Hoje eu estou no trono mas não esqueci
Que sou tão pequenino Deus perto de Ti
Eu tive que matar gigantes, com a funda e a pedra na mão
Eu tive que travar batalhas com urso e leão
Mas aprendi que adorando eu venço os inimigos meus
Pois a estratégia não é minha
A origem da minha força vem de Deus
De Deus!

The boy from the field became God's second heart!
Me soon, full of transgressions, so flawed and sinful
But God's mercy reached me
Today I am on the throne but I haven't forgotten
That I am so tiny God next to You
I had to kill giants, with the sling and the stone in hand
I had to fight battles with bear and lion
But I learned that by worshiping I overcome my enemies
For the strategy is not mine
The source of my strength comes from God
From God!
