In the midst of darkness
When the night falls
It's dark in the valley
It's dark in the mountains
My spirit is troubled
It's dark with them
The darkness of my God
And I'm afraid of it!
Those who mock me
They hurt me, they
Where is your God?
They question me with scorn
I count the days
When I go with sorrow
I call on Jehovah
In His eternal house!
But why, my spirit
Do you despair in me?
What are you waiting for
Why do you speak against me?
I trust in Jehovah
Who is ready to help me!
He is the God of sorrows
He is love and faith!
