Uno vale según lo que tiene
Por desgracia es la ley de la vida
Te regalan si cuentas con bienes
Traes caballo y te ofrecen la silla
Para hacerte el favor te resuelven
Van primero y te toman medida
Nadie vende un caballo por bueno
Ni hacen ricos quedándose pobres
El que tiene ambición a lo ajeno
Y también es así en los amores
Al dejarte algo malo te dieron
Porque a nadie le gustan traiciones
Puedes creerme que siento tus penas
Aunque a ti mi sentir no te ayuda
Puedo darte unas cuantas monedas
Pero no remediar tu amargura
