Why do some choose to tear down
What others work so hard to build
Why do some take innocent lives
Like they got the right to kill?
How can they face themselves in the mirror
Where is the guilt? where is the shame?
How can it be so fucking easy to cause
Sorrow and pain!
There has to be a valid reason
Why they choose to be
A never ending burden to our society
Is it something? from their childhood
Or is it something in their genetic code
Did they watch one too many violent t.v. shows.
If i was a politician
I could justify these questions
But i'm not
So i'll look for answers i'll probably never know

What brings this need for violence?
What it is? i'd like to know!
What leads to disposition
Where does it come from?
Is it something in the water
Or is it just

¿Por qué algunos eligen destruir
Lo que otros trabajan tan duro para construir?
¿Por qué algunos toman vidas inocentes
Como si tuvieran el derecho de matar?
¿Cómo pueden enfrentarse a sí mismos en el espejo?
¿Dónde está la culpa? ¿dónde está la vergüenza?
¿Cómo puede ser tan malditamente fácil causar
Dolor y sufrimiento?
Tiene que haber una razón válida
Por la que eligen ser
Una carga interminable para nuestra sociedad
¿Es algo de su infancia?
¿O es algo en su código genético?
¿Vieron demasiados programas de televisión violentos?
Si fuera político
Podría justificar estas preguntas
Pero no lo soy
Así que buscaré respuestas que probablemente nunca sabré
Tiene que haber una razón válida
Por la que eligen ser
Una carga interminable para nuestra sociedad
No tiene sentido para mí
Y no creo que sea correcto
Que alguien a quien ni siquiera conozco
Esté jodiendo mi vida
¿Por qué un simple vaso de paso
Siempre se convierte en golpes de paso?
¿Qué trae esta necesidad de violencia?
¡Me gustaría saber qué es!
¿Qué lleva a esta disposición?
¿De dónde viene?
¿Es algo en el agua
O es simplemente
¡Algo en nuestra sangre!
