Lake of Fear
Sometimes I can hear ocean roar in the beggars mouth
to be the pride and joy ~ the laughter pitiful of others
the noose holds on when you walk once more through the cheater's town
and like a little boy
you get the shivers down your spine
...in a way that the world feels odd...
when I leave the water run
bend on the floor I wait for dawn
and I know it won't be long
when I'll be swimming for the shore
...for the shore...
sometimes all the held back feelings become stream of tears
or awake the animal ~ desires not told, not followed
the moment you're rowing alone your boat on the lake of fear
the paddles feel emerge...
the touch of water breeds the sorrow once more
the shoreline closing up on you
and it feels so cruel ~ the water crystal blue
take the time to...
go down the drain
wash away my pain
and yet feel the same
minutes crawl and the soul catches on fire
I will never break but this is way too much to take
So come ~ wake me then when the night is gone
'cause it feels so long in your head...
Lago del Miedo
A veces puedo escuchar el rugido del océano en la boca del mendigo
para ser el orgullo y la alegría ~ la risa lastimosa de los demás
la soga se aferra cuando caminas una vez más por la ciudad de los tramposos
y como un niño pequeño
sientes escalofríos por la espalda
...de una manera en la que el mundo se siente extraño...
cuando dejo correr el agua
me inclino en el suelo esperando el amanecer
y sé que no pasará mucho tiempo
hasta que esté nadando hacia la orilla
...hacia la orilla...
a veces todos los sentimientos reprimidos se convierten en un torrente de lágrimas
o despiertan al animal ~ deseos no dichos, no seguidos
en el momento en que remas solo tu bote en el lago del miedo
los remos parecen emerger...
el contacto con el agua engendra la tristeza una vez más
la costa se acerca a ti
y se siente tan cruel ~ el agua cristalina azul
tómate el tiempo para...
ir por el desagüe
lavar mi dolor
y aún sentir lo mismo
los minutos pasan arrastrándose y el alma se enciende en llamas
nunca me romperé pero esto es demasiado para soportar
Así que ven ~ despiértame entonces cuando la noche haya pasado
porque se siente tan largo en tu cabeza...
