The Day Of Deliverance
Feeling the weight of his sins on his shoulders
Carrying the burden of guilt in his chest
Held captive and blindfolded by his darkened life
Not knowing where to turn in this strife
..then he heard
a voice wispered "Ask, and it shall be given"
a voice said "Seek, and ye shall find"
a voice shouted "Knock, and I will open"
"I will give you my peace of mind"
suffering from horrific diseases
bleeding from his open wounds
soul and body in severe decay
where is the remedy for all his pain
then the Shepherd came and rose him, he who was cast down
the Saviour came and freed him, he who was chained
the Master came and healed him, he who was beaten
Jesus gave him life, he who was dead
.. For he was
Aching, craving, and praying for the day of salvation
Hurting, yearning and searching for the day of deliverance
surely he took our infirmities and carried our sorrows
pierced for our transgressions and crushed for our iniqiuties
he took our punishment so we might have peace
and through his stripes we are healed
..he had heared

Sintiendo el peso de sus pecados en sus hombros

Mantenido cautivo y vendado por su vida oscurecida
Sin saber a dónde recurrir en esta lucha
..entonces escuchó
una voz susurró 'Pide y se te dará'
una voz dijo 'Busca y encontrarás'
una voz gritó 'Llama y abriré'
'Te daré mi paz mental'
sufriendo de enfermedades horribles
sangrando de sus heridas abiertas
alma y cuerpo en grave deterioro
¿dónde está el remedio para todo su dolor?
entonces vino el Pastor y lo levantó, él que estaba caído
el Salvador vino y lo liberó, él que estaba encadenado
el Maestro vino y lo sanó, él que estaba golpeado
Jesús le dio vida, él que estaba muerto
..Porque él estaba
Doloroso, anhelante y orando por el día de la salvación
Herido, ansiando y buscando el día de la liberación
seguramente él tomó nuestras enfermedades y llevó nuestras penas
traspasado por nuestras transgresiones y aplastado por nuestras iniquidades
él tomó nuestro castigo para que pudiéramos tener paz
y por sus llagas fuimos sanados
..él había escuchado
